By joining our waitlist today, you're embarking on an exciting journey toward welcoming a furry friend into your life. Depending on your specific preferences – such as color, gender, and other factors – our estimated wait time for offering you a kitten ranges from 6 to 18 months. We typically extend offers when the kittens are around 4 weeks old, with a departure date of 14 weeks. This timeframe allows us to ensure that your new companion is ready for their forever home, fully socialized and equipped to become an integral part of your life. Why have you chosen a Selkirk Rex for a pet?

Are you able to have a pet in your current (or future, if you may relocate) residence? Please confirm that there is no tenancy agreement in place which limits your choice to own pets, as the deposit you are placing is non-refundable.*

What do you do for a living? Do you rent or own your home? Is your home a pet friendly property? Does anyone in your household smoke cigarettes?

Could you please tell us about the type of Selkirk Rex you're hoping to adopt from us? This includes details about temperament, coat pattern, gender, quality, and any other preferences you may have.

If you are not local to our cattery, will you pick up your kitten in person, or do you need transport? If transport is needed, please provide the nearest airport to you. Note that the cost of air transport within Canada is approximately $280, and it may be higher for destinations outside of Canada.

Do you have any other pets in your household? If yes, please provide details such as breed, age, and sex for each pet. Additionally, if you already have pets, how do you plan to introduce a new cat or kitten to your existing pets?

Do you agree that your Selkirk Rex will not be allowed to roam freely outdoors and will only have supervised access to the outdoors via a harness or a safely enclosed space like a covered tent?
